Spire Healthcare were facing a huge problem with non-affiliated sites bidding on their brand terms. This was not only a threat to the Spire Healthcare brand but also increasing CPCs by creating a competitive landscape on Brand SERPs.

SOLUTION

iThinkMedia helped Spire Healthcare trademark their brand name on Google with immediate effect. We monitored KPIs like impression share, average position and CPCs of brand terms to measure the uplift and tracked when competitors were bidding. Once the trademark was completed, we raised individual complaint forms against unauthorised advertisers until they were removed & continue to monitor these terms as part of our monthly management.

RESULTS

The number of non-affiliated sites within brand space reduced by 80% within the first 6 weeks of Trademark approval. Added to this, both Organic & Paid Media channels saw Traffic increase by 14%, whilst Enquiries also improved by 23%.
