Barons Group was faced with a large consolidation project, which consisted of amalgamating five websites into one

The Brief

With a range of duplicate content, inaccurate specs and location information, as well as an inconsistent TOV, we were challenged with producing new content for all new and used vehicle pages.

The main focus was to ensure that all information was accurate, user’s key questions were answered on the page and all pages were optimised for our search terms and conversions.

On a page by page basis, we took time to understand our target keywords and locations before we could tackle the copy.

Throughout the process, we had to consider the user journey, the brand’s target audiences and the information that was being searched for. We implemented new technical copy, which looked at capturing keywords, specs and each brand’s TOV.

Optimised user journey

All CTAs were optimised dependant on the location of the customer’s journey throughout the site and geolocation. We created over 250 pages of new copy, encapsulating all of the users’ and search engines’ main features.
